Connecticut High School Soccer - Derby toppled by Naugatuck
September 18, 2025: Naugatuck, CT 06770 Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Naugatuck moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Shelton (Shelton, CT) to clash with the Gaels in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Gaels go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Shelton lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Cheshire (Cheshire, CT)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Torrington Raiders (Torrington, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley outing, on Monday, September 22. Derby will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Raiders go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 league Oxford (Oxford, CT).
