September 19, 2025: Needham, MA 02494 Needham Rockets (Needham, MA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Needham improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rockets host Wellesley (Wellesley, MA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Red Hawks meet the Attleboro Bombardiers (Attleboro, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Barnstable will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bombardiers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Foxborough (Foxborough, MA).
