California High School Volleyball - Hilltop over San Ysidro
September 19, 2025: San Diego, CA 92154 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) and the host San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA), observed Hilltop's volleyball team top San Ysidro by a tally of 2-0.
The Lancers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Mira Mesa beat Santana (Santee, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mar Vista for a test on Friday, September 26. San Ysidro will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Escondido (Escondido, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 3-1.
