Connecticut High School Soccer - Bassick knocks off Bullard-Havens
September 19, 2025: Bridgeport, CT 06605 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) and the visiting Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT), saw Bassick's soccer squad knock off Bullard-Havens by a count of 3-0.
The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Immaculate by New Milford (New Milford, CT), 1-0, in a league match.
The Tigers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Abbott RVT for a Connecticut Technical match on Tuesday, September 23. Bullard-Havens will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-3.
