Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Newark Charter School Patriots (Newark, DE) and the visiting Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE), saw Newark Charter School's volleyball squad nudge Cape Henlopen by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Newark Charter School improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Patriots host Conrad Science (Wilmington, DE) to encounter the Red Wolves in a Diamond State battle on Monday, September 22. The Red Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Conrad Science won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE)

The Vikings now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delmar for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. Cape Henlopen will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
