September 19, 2025: Cherokee, NC 28719 The North Iredell Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Cherokee Braves to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Brevard for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. North Iredell will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-6.
The Braves (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Ashe County held off Alleghany (Sparta, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
