Nevada High School Volleyball - North Valleys over Portola
September 19, 2025: Reno, NV 89506 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), observed North Valleys's volleyball team top Portola by a count of 3-1.
The Panthers (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks enter the 5A Northern - High Desert contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Hug notched a victory over Reed (Sparks, NV), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Tigers now own a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a Mid-Valley battle on Tuesday, September 23. Portola will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA). The Braves record now stands at 16-4.
