September 20, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87112 In Tuesday's non-league game, the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) football team were victorious over the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 46-26.
The Matadors (2-2) will now prepare for their game against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs come into the game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, West Mesa was knocked off by La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM), 42-14, in a non-league game.
The Monarchs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4. Manzano will meet a Ravens team coming off a 60-8 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 0-3.
