Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys confront the Salida Spartans (Salida, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Gunnison will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Canon City (Canon City, CO).
