September 20, 2022: Santa Teresa, NM 88021 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) and the host Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM), saw Hobbs's soccer squad get by Santa Teresa by a margin of 2-1.
The Eagles now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to La Cueva for a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. Hobbs will meet a Bears squad coming off a 6-0 league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Santa Teresa drops to 3-5 on the season. The Desert warriors travel to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Saturday, September 24.
