Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge, on Wednesday, September 27. Blackhawk will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.

The Hillers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Moon Area for a WPIAL AAA 4 challenge on Monday, September 25. Trinity will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
