September 20, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87110 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque Academy's soccer squad triumph over Sandia by a margin of 10-1.
The Chargers now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Miyamura for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Albuquerque Academy will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM). The Patriots record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Sandia drops to 1-1 on the season. The Matadors host Hobbs (Hobbs, NM) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-0. Hobbs won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM)
