September 20, 2023: Elizabeth City, NC 27909 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) and the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Holmes's volleyball squad beat Pasquotank County by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Holmes upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Aces travel to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Hertford County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Camden County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26.
