St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Francis Red Raiders (Hamburg, NY), 4-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers face the McQuaid Jesuit Knights (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. St. Mary's will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Clarence (Clarence, NY).

The Red Raiders now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aquinas Institute for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. St. Francis will face a Little Irish team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Pittsford (Pittsford, NY). The Little Irish record now stands at 6-0.
