September 20, 2023: Walterboro, SC 29488 The Bridges Prep Buccaneers (Beaufort, SC) volleyball overcame the host Colleton County Cougars (Walterboro, SC), 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
With the win, Bridges Prep upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Buccaneers host Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC) to face the Red Raiders in a A Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 21. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-7. Bamberg-Ehrhardt lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Branchville (Branchville, SC)
The Cougars now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a AAAA Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 21. Colleton County will face a Bengals squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to James Island (Charleston, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 10-5.
