With the win, Houma Christian advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors host West St. John (Edgard, LA) to play the Rams in a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 1-1. West St. John won 34-32 in their recent non-league battle against Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA)
The Patriots now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to E.D. White for a 4A District 8 battle on Friday, September 27. A.J. Ellender will play a Cardinals team coming off a 21-18 non-league win over Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
