The Big Walnut Golden Eagles edged the host Westerville South Wildcats football team by a score of 31-28 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Franklin Heights Falcons (Columbus, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Capital challenge, on Friday, September 27. Big Walnut will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Westland (Galloway, OH).

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Westerville North (Westerville, OH). The Warriors enter the Ohio Capital - Capital challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Westerville North held off Hayes (Delaware, OH), 42-30, in a league challenge.
