Washington High School Football - Bonney Lake thwarted by Peninsula
September 20, 2024: Bonney Lake, WA 98390 Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Bonney Lake Panthers (Bonney Lake, WA), 24-3 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Peninsula improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Seahawks host Capital (Olympia, WA) to play the Cougars in a 3A South Sound battle on Friday, September 27. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Capital won 51-0 in their recent non-league battle against Shelton (Shelton, WA)
The Panthers now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Graham-Kapowsin for a 4A South Puget Sound - South battle on Thursday, September 26. Bonney Lake will play a Eagles team coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
