In Friday's non-league match, the host Cactus Shadows Falcons football squad scored a good 55-28 triumph over the Boulder Creek Jaguars.

The Falcons (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights come into the 5A Northeast Valley match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Higley defeated Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 39-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Jaguars meet the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 27. Boulder Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Coyotes come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 27-23 non-league loss to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ).
