California High School Football - Castle Park can't hold off Scripps Ranch
September 20, 2024: San Diego, CA 92131 Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Scripps Ranch advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Falcons host La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to play the Vikings in a Eastern battle on Friday, October 4. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 4-1. La Jolla won 38-7 in their recent league battle against Mission Bay (San Diego, CA)
The Trojans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hilltop for a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. Castle Park will play a Lancers team coming off a 26-7 non-league loss to Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-3.
