In Friday's non-league game, the Central Plains Oilers (Claflin, KS) football team triumphed over the visiting LaCrosse Leopards (LaCrosse, KS), by a tally of 56-0.

In their next game, the Oilers face the Solomon Gorillas (Solomon, KS) in a Wheat State (8 Man) game, on Friday, September 27. Central Plains will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
