New York High School Football - Central Valley Academy falls to South Jefferson
September 20, 2024: Ilion, NY 13357 The South Jefferson Spartans felled the host Central Valley Academy Thunder football team by a score of 30-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Gouverneur Wildcats (Gouverneur, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. South Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 18-14 league loss to Canton (Canton, NY).
The Thunder (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oneida (Oneida, NY). The Express go into the Section 3 B - East challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Oneida was dropped by Chittenango (Chittenango, NY), 34-27, in a non-league challenge.
