September 20, 2024: Centralia, IL 62801 The Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) football trounced the visiting Granite City Warriors (Granite City, IL), 49-6 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Orphans now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carbondale for a South Seven outing on Friday, September 27. Centralia will clash with a Terriers squad coming off a 44-21 league loss to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL). The Terriers record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Granite City drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Collinsville (Collinsville, IL) to clash with the Kahoks in a non-league outing on Friday, September 27. The Kahoks come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Collinsville lost 45-21 in their recent non-league outing against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL)
