Michigan High School Football - East Jordan can't hold off Charlevoix
September 20, 2024: East Jordan, MI 49727 Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host East Jordan Red Devils (East Jordan, MI), 26-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Charlevoix improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Rayders host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to play the Huskies in a Northern Michigan - Leaders battle on Friday, September 27. The Huskies go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Benzie Central won 20-14 in their recent league battle against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI)
The Red Devils now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Glen Lake for a Northern Michigan - Legacy battle on Friday, September 27. East Jordan will play a Lakers team coming off a 28-14 non-league loss to Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 3-1.
