In Friday's non-league game, the Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) football team were victorious over the visiting Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO), by a tally of 37-6.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. Cherokee Trail will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 34-12 non-league win over Pomona (Arvada, CO).

The Lobos (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Impalas enter the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Poudre fell by Golden (Golden, CO), 23-0, in a non-league game.
