Texas High School Football - Community defeats Western Hills

September 20, 2024: Nevada, TX 75173

In Friday's non-league match, the host Community Braves football team scored a nice 55-27 win over the Western Hills Cougars.

With the win, Community advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Braves host Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX) to encounter the Falcons in a 4A-1 Region II District 7 bout on Friday, October 4. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-0.

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Eastern Hills for a 4A-1 Region II District 5 bout on Friday, September 27. Western Hills will encounter a Highlanders team coming off a 28-6 non-league loss to Benbrook (Benbrook, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-4.
