The McLean Highlanders felled the visiting Edison Eagles football team by a score of 34-14 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a District 2 challenge, on Friday, September 27. McLean will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Statesmen go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 35-7 non-league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA).

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield lost by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 21-0, in a league challenge.
