Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR), 48-34 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Rivercrest improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Colts travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region 3 battle on Friday, September 27. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Harrisburg lost 36-14 in their recent non-league battle against Trumann (Trumann, AR)

The Mustangs now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lonoke for a 4A Region 2 battle on Friday, September 27. Forrest City will play a Jackrabbits team coming off a 30-21 non-league loss to Wynne (Wynne, AR). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 0-3.
