New Jersey High School Football - Hoboken loses to Shabazz
September 20, 2024: Newark, NJ 07108 Shabazz Bulldogs (Newark, NJ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Hoboken Redwings (Hoboken, NJ), 30-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Shabazz advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Immaculata (Somerville, NJ) to encounter the Spartans in a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Immaculata won 35-0 in their recent league battle against Weequahic (Newark, NJ)
The Redwings now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Ridge for a Super - National Red battle on Saturday, September 28. Hoboken will encounter a Ridgers team coming off a 21-12 non-league loss to Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ). The Ridgers record now stands at 1-2.
