In Friday's non-league match, the host Northwest Grizzlies football squad scored a good 43-30 triumph over the Junction City Bluejays.

The Grizzlies (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders come into the Greater Wichita City match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Kapaun Mt. Carmel defeated East (Wichita, KS), 27-20, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bluejays confront the Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) in a Centennial match, on Friday, September 27. Junction City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 34-30 non-league win over Hays (Hays, KS).
