Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Junction Eagles (Junction, TX), 35-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mason advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Punchers travel to Christoval (Christoval, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 27. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-3. Christoval won 29-0 in their recent non-league battle against Sterling City (Sterling City, TX)

The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Rocksprings for a 2A-2 Region IV District 14 battle on Friday, October 4.
