September 20, 2024: Kirbyville, TX 75956 Kirbyville Wildcats (Kirbyville, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, TX), 40-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Kirbyville advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Anahuac (Anahuac, TX) to play the Panthers in a 3A-1 Region III District 10 battle on Friday, September 27. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Anahuac lost 54-51 in their recent non-league battle against Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX)
The Warriors now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host New Waverly for a 3A-2 Region III District 12 battle on Friday, September 27. Warren will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-8 non-league win over Huntington (Huntington, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
