In Friday's league match, the host Yuma Criminals football squad scored a good 30-7 triumph over the Kofa Kings.

The Criminals (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons come into the 3A Metro West match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Dysart defeated Greenway (Phoenix, AZ), 42-35, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Kings confront the Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ) in a 3A Metro West match, on Friday, October 4. Kofa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
