Pennsylvania High School Football - Ligonier Valley knocked off by Our Lady of the Sacred Heart

In Friday's league game, the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) football team overcame the host Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), by a tally of 28-7.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) in a WPIAL AA Allegheny game, on Friday, September 27. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 40-32 non-league win over Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA).

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their game against South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Gladiators enter the WPIAL AA Allegheny game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, South Allegheny fell by South Park (South Park, PA), 48-38, in a league game.
