Illinois High School Football - Lockport tops Waubonsie Valley
September 20, 2024: Aurora, IL 60504 The Lockport Porters football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Waubonsie Valley Warriors to 7 in the Porters non-league triumph on Friday.
The Porters now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Naperville North for a Southwest Valley - Blue test on Friday, September 27. Lockport will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 49-17 league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Waubonsie Valley drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to meet the Chargers in a Southwest Valley - Green test on Friday, September 27. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Stagg lost 56-7 in their recent non-league test against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)
