New Hampshire High School Football - Monadnock tops Newport
September 20, 2024: East Swanzey, NH 03446 The Monadnock Huskies football squad scored 32 points and limited the visiting Newport Tigers to 22 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.
The Huskies now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sanborn Regional for a Division III test on Saturday, September 28. Monadnock will meet a Indians squad coming off a 36-14 league loss to Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Indians record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Newport drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lebanon (Lebanon, NH) to meet the Raiders in a Division III test on Saturday, September 28. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-1. Lebanon won 19-0 in their recent league test against Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH)
