In Friday's non-league match, the host Spring Creek Gators football squad scored a good 54-34 victory over the Union Spartans.

The Gators (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Lejeune thwarted Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC), 42-14, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a Carolina 1A match, on Friday, October 4. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
