The Starpoint Spartans football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Williamsville East Flames to 7 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville North for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Starpoint will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 21-18 league loss to West Seneca West (West Seneca, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Williamsville East drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Flames host North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY) to meet the Lumberjacks in a Section 6 A - 2 test on Friday, September 27.
