September 20, 2024: Sloan, IA 51055 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA) and the host Westwood Rebels (Sloan, IA), witnessed Tri-Center's football squad wallop Westwood by a count of 58-12.
The Trojans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA). The Panthers enter the A District 8 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Logan-Magnolia crushed West Monona (Onawa, IA), 49-12, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Rebels confront the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) in a A District 8 contest, on Friday, September 27. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 49-12 league loss to Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA).
