Illinois High School Flag Football - Maine East loses to Wheeling
September 20, 2024: Park Ridge, IL 60068 Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 30-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wheeling advances its record to 3-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Saxons in a battle on Monday, September 23. The Saxons go into the battle with a record of 8-1. Schaumburg lost 20-0 in their recent league battle against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Blue Demons now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Vernon Hills for a battle on Monday, September 23. Maine East will play a Cougars team coming off a 38-14 league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
