September 20, 2024: Berkeley, CA 94704 Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Berkeley advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Encinal (Alameda, CA) to face the Jets in a test on Wednesday, September 25. The Jets go into the test with a record of 7-4.
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hercules for a test on Monday, September 23. Saint Mary's will face a Titans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Albany (Albany, CA). The Titans record now stands at 0-2.
