New Jersey High School Soccer - Clayton toppled by Bridgeton
September 20, 2024: Bridgeton, NJ 08302 Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bridgeton advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ) to clash with the Colts in a non-league test on Monday, September 23. The Colts come into the test with a record of 2-2. Cumberland 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ)
The Clippers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Salem County Vo-Tech for a test on Tuesday, September 24. Clayton will clash with a team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Paulsboro (Paulsboro, NJ). The record now stands at 0-5.
