September 20, 2024: LaGrange, IL 60525 Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lyons moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to clash with the Redwings in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Redwings come into the test with a record of 5-2. Benet Academy won 6-0 in their recent league test against Carmel (Mundelein, IL)
The Champions now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton for a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. Lane Tech will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-3.
