Missouri High School Softball - Carthage bounces West Plains
September 20, 2024: Carthage, MO 64836 In Friday's non-league match, the host Carthage Tigers softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the West Plains Zizzers.
The Tigers (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Branson (Branson, MO). The Pirates come into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Branson notched a victory over Glendale (Springfield, MO), 8-7, in a league match.
In their next game, the Zizzers battle the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats (Rogersville, MO) in a Class 3 District 11 match, on Saturday, September 21. West Plains will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-10 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Seneca (Seneca, MO).
