Oklahoma High School Softball - Hartshorne Purcell
September 20, 2024: Hartshorne, OK 74547 Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK), 8-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Purcell upgrades its record to 20-9 on the year. The Dragons travel to Plainview (Ardmore, OK) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 24. The Indians go into the test with a record of 17-11.
The Miners (11-17) will now prepare for their test against Newcastle (Newcastle, OK). The Racers go into the non-league test with a 15-10 record. In their last test, Newcastle held off Harrah (Harrah, OK), 6-5, in a league test.
