California High School Volleyball - Avalon bounced by Segerstrom
September 20, 2024: Avalon, CA 90704 Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Segerstrom improves its record to 16-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Costa Mesa (Costa Mesa, CA) to encounter the Mustangs in a Golden West test on Tuesday, September 24. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 11-8. Costa Mesa won 3-0 in their recent league test against Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA)
The Lancers now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Webb Schools for a Academy test on Saturday, September 21. Avalon will encounter a Gauls squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA). The Gauls record now stands at 2-12.
