September 20, 2024: Bastrop, TX 78602 In Friday's league challenge, the host Bastrop Bears volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Navarro Vikings.
The Bears (12-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin (Austin, TX). The Raptors enter the 5A Region III District 24 challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin was beaten by Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Vikings meet the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Navarro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 14-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Anderson (Austin, TX).
