September 20, 2024: Wallington, NJ 07057 Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wallington improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ) to face the Blue Devils in a North Jersey - Meadowlands test on Tuesday, September 24. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 4-5. Wood-Ridge won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ)
The Knights now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Immaculate Heart Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. Bergen Tech will face a Blue Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Paramus Catholic (Paramus, NJ). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 8-0.
