September 20, 2024: Worcester, MA 01602 In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Burncoat Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Doherty Memorial Highlanders.
The Patriots (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul (Worcester, MA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record.
Next, the Highlanders meet the Notre Dame Academy Rebels (Worcester, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 23. Doherty Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA).
