September 20, 2024: El Centro, CA 92243 The Central Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting St. Joseph Academy Crusaders to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now have a 22-9 record. They play next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. Central will play a Foothillers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to West Hills (Santee, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, St. Joseph Academy drops to 7-11 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Firebirds in a non-league outing on Friday, September 20. The Firebirds come into the outing with a record of 8-6. Pacific Ridge won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Olympian (Chula Vista, CA)
